Jon C. Vaughan CFA

Principal

Mr. Vaughan graduated from Baylor University with a double major in Finance and International Business earning his Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1997. With 16 years of experience in fixed-income sales, trading, and analytics his areas of expertise include: collateralized mortgage obligations, mortgage-backed securities, corporate bonds, municipal bonds, FDIC insured certificates of deposit and government agency securities. Mr. Vaughan works with Institutional and Individual accounts with an emphasis on principal protection. He has provided financial advice on numerous Houston radio stations since 2002 and he is currently hosting: “What’s Working Now” Mondays through Fridays from 4:00 – 6:00 PM on CNN 650 AM. In addition, Jon serves on the Board of St. Andrew's Episcopal School, volunteers with several non-profit organizations in Houston and is a member of the CFA Society of Houston.
