Marcel's focus is a balanced portfolio management strategy which combines the merits of both aggressive and defensive strategies; so that both return and risks are balanced. This strategy suits almost all types of investors who have reasonable risk tolerance. Marcel's balanced investing strategy consists of the best of both fixed income securities and equity investments.

Marcel comes to Tri-Star Financial from Saracen Group of Companies of Houston. As Director of Fixed Income Investments, he led Saracen's fixed income portfolio management group. Previous to his experience at Saracen, Marcel was Senior Portfolio Manager at AIM Investments managing retail and institutional fixed income portfolios. All in all, Marcel has nearly 20 years experience in the investment industry.

Originally from Houston, Marcel received his MBA from Texas A&M University and completed an undergraduate degree in Finance at Texas State University.
