John P. Bott, II

Chairman of the Board and Chief Economist

Mr. Bott serves as Chairman of the Board of Tri-Star Financial and has a career that spans over 38 years dealing in municipal, treasury, mortgage-backed securities, and corporate bonds. He has also dealt in commodities, futures, interest rate swaps and all types of mutual funds. His clients have consisted of asset managers, bankers, credit unions, pension funds, foundations, corporations, life insurance companies, municipalities, retirement accounts, and individual clients. He has been a guest speaker in programs for the Dallas Investors Forum, the Woodlands Investors Group, and The Houston Investors Association.

Mr. Bott's is an alumnus of the University of Houston and Southwest Texas State University and currently lives in Pearland with his wife Debra. They have 7 children and 12 grandchildren.
